The Carillon has been described as “a well-oiled machine,” an apt name considering how our staff, spread across two class periods, manages time and time again to finish their pages before their deadlines and still maintain the high academic standards that Bellaire Senior High School is renowned for. The staff is spread into two periods: 6th and 7th. 6th period encompasses several photographers, Clubs & Academics section, Sports section. The same goes to 7th period, which has the other half of the photographers and People section. In both periods there are other groups working as well. These groups are Business & Marketing, Copy/Layout/Design (CLD), Productions and the Editors-in-Chief (fondly referred to as the Big 5). Mrs. Patti Simon and Mr. Mark Halvorsen with new edition Ms. Micaela Segal oversee operations with the Big 5.
