Prom: April 30, 2005 Hyatt Regency Hotel Downtown

8 PM – 1 AM Dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom

Formal attire – bring play clothes to be checked in upstairs coatroom

Students not admitted after 10:30 PM

After Prom: Exhibit Hall, Hyatt Regency Hotel basement

1 AM to 6 AM. Games, snacks, prizes, breakfast

Play clothes acceptable – check formal clothes in downstairs coatroom

Students not admitted after 1:30 AM

After Prom activities include: Triple Bungee run, Giant Twister, Tug-o-Joust, DJ & Karaoke, photo buttons, prize machine, full casino (black jack, craps, roulette, wheel of fortune). Commemorative After Prom t-shirt distributed when student leaves the event.

Senior Grand Prizes will be drawn around 5 AM. Students must be present to win. Prizes include DVD players, TVs, PlayStations, Game Boys, jewelry, CD/MP3 players, luggage, cameras, etc.

Parent workers will be called or emailed with your time slot and station. Show up for your shift at least 15 minutes early. Sign up tonight or call Janis Boulware 713-728-8826 jboulware77@sbcglobal.net to find out what is available.

Casino Dealers wear tuxedo shirt and black bow tie. All other volunteers wear Senior Parent t-shirt and jeans. Senior parent t-shirts are $15 each.

Park in the hotel garage. Valet parking is $10 but not recommended since everyone leaves at the same time and it could take 30 minutes or longer to get your car. The Regency Garage is NOT affiliated with the hotel!

BHS has a group rate of $99 for room rentals if parents want to spend the night. Reserve room with Hyatt.

Senior dues are currently $90 and go up to $100 on March 31. Checks should be made out to BHS and paid before school or during lunch in Room 124.

March 29 – April 22: Prom sign up in Room 124 before school or during lunch ONLY. If bringing a date other than a BHS senior, you must provide their name, phone number, and a $25 guest fee. Guest must bring some kind of photo ID to Prom! No sign ups past April 22!!

March 31 – Senior dues increase to $100. Pay in Room 124.

April – second week: Pick up Graduation announcements in auditorium foyer. Listen for exact days. Balfour rep for BHS is Todd Dillingham 713-784-4990 if you have questions.

April 25-29: Pick up Prom Pass in Room 124. Must have this to enter Prom & After Prom on April 30!

May 23 - Pick up Prom Picture/Prom Favors - MP Room at 12:30 (after last exam)
May 24 - Cap and Gown Panoramic Picture - 7:30 AM (before first exam)
May 25 - Graduation Rehearsal/Info - 10:00 AM BHS Auditorium (in between the exams scheduled)
May 26 - Senior Brunch - BHS Cafeteria - 11:00 AM
May 29 - Graduation - Hofheinz Pavilion on U of H campus - 5 PM
