The Bellaire AfterProm is a great big party held every year to finish off the prom celebration. Starting as soon as prom ends, it goes until 6:00 the next morning, giving the Seniors and their dates a great finish to a wonderful evening! Casino events allow the students to rack up 'play money' that can be used to bid on and purchase lots of fabulous prizes -- from CDs to computers and mini-fridges, etc. In addition there are drawings for dozens of door prizes!

All this fun, and all these prizes, cost a lot of money, which the Senior class has been raising all year. The biggest fundraiser was Breakfast at Bellaire, which was back in November. Since then the class has been selling t-shirts, blankets, sweatshirts and other items. We are nearing our goal, but still need a few thousand dollars to reach the amount we need. Please consider giving a $25 donation (or more) if you have not already done so. All parents of Seniors should have received a mailing with information on this request in it. We are now in the process of actively recruiting the many, many parents who are needed before and during AfterProm to make this event a success. From decorating to staffing the gambling tables to checking clothes/coats and handing out t-shirts - we need dozens of people for shifts starting as early as 7:30 PM and up until 6:00 AM.

If you were unable to attend the meeting on Wednesday, here is a synopsis of the information covered at that meeting.

Prom is April 30 from 8:00PM to 1:00 AMN at the Hyatt Regency downtown.
AfterProm starts around 12:00 and goes until 6:00AM on May 1st - also at the Hyatt.
